Gap to Growth: Free mental health therapy for the people insurance doesn't cover

Join us online for Kristten's presentation on "Gap to Growth": a program offering free mental health therapy for individuals who are not covered by insurance and who face long wait times for care. According to the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment, mental health is Story County's top community need. For many residents, the wait to see a therapist can exceed six months. In her presentation, Kristten will explain how the Gap to Growth program provides free therapy to Story County residents facing barriers to accessing care, while training the next generation of counselors in Iowa.
