The Robotic Revolution ~ Thoracic Surgery

Dr. Mark Taylor has been a board certified general surgeon at McFarland Clinic since 1991. He earned his BA in Zoology from the University of Arkansas in 1982, and his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 1986. He did his residency in general surgery at the University of Illinois, Cook County Hospital.  

Dr. Taylor was part of a medical missionary team that travelled to Hospital de la Familia in Nuevo Progreso, Guatemala to deliver health care for 10 years, from 1998 – 2008.

He is a past recipient of the Innovation and Excellence in Medical Practice Award from Mary Greeley Medical Center. His medical interests include Robotic Lung Surgery and Sentinel Lymph Node Surgery.  

His presentation today will be on “The Robotic Revolution in Thoracic Surgery.”
