Giving a Hand Up, Not a Hand Out

Habitat for Humanity of Central Iowa is a fiscally sound, non-profit organization made up of Individuals and groups from area faith communities, businesses and service groups that donate their time, talent and treasure to help build for  people in need. As of December, 2017 HFHCI has completed and sold 58 homes and will continue to increase production by building and remodeling houses in Hamilton, Hardin and Story county this year.

Andrea Weber is a graduate from the University of Iowa and is currently working on her Masters from MBTS. She has been married for 14 years and has two boys, Axel and Deakon. She resides in Boone and is actively involved as PTO president and women’s ministry leader for her church. In Boone she has spent the past 10 years working on community outreach and engagement through such events as a back to school supply drive, community wide trunk-or-treat, and food pantry for the local schools. She comes to Habitat for Humanity of Central Iowa with experience in marketing and social media advertising. With lots of ambition she is eager to bring her ideas to Story County.
