With over 30 years of experience in the Auditor’s Office, she is the primary architect of the Story County budget. She will walk us through how our tax dollars are allocated across essential services—from public safety and infrastructure to veteran affairs and conservation—and explain exactly how these figures impact your property tax bill.

Cyber Scams: What’s Really Happening (and How to Stay Safe)
Ames is growing greener thanks to a powerful partnership and dedicated People of Action. On April 25, the Rotary Club of Ames and Rotaract at Iowa State University joined forces with the City of Ames and The Ames Foundation to plant 70 trees in the Welbeck and Brickman neighborhoods. Supported by DNR and USDA grants, our volunteers rolled up their sleeves to diversify our urban forest.
