The Ames Rotary Club Volunteer Committee is hosting a Donation Drive to benefit The Bridge Home here in Ames. The Bridge Home is devoted to bridging the gap between homelessness and housing by providing shelter, support, and inspiring a pathway forward to individuals and families experiencing or on the verge of homelessness. We heard from their team that they are in need of a variety of items and we decided that this would be perfect for the Volunteer Committee's first project!
Volunteers will be stationed in front at the Scheman Building Parking Lot on Friday, March 12th from 12pm-2pm and on Saturday, March 13th from 12pm-2pm to collect donations from club members. If you are unable to make it to either drive date but you would like to donate items to The Bridge Home, contact Jodi Stumbo 515.232.8075 for further drop-off details.
