To combat and, hopefully, reverse greenhouse gas (GHG) growth and climate change, achieving the ambitious goal of net zero GHG emissions by 2050 is essential for the health and well-being of our children and grandchildren. Therefore, the science and engineering community worldwide must do its best to address key GHG emission challenges to make renewable, zero-carbon electric power more accessible and to promote the widespread adoption of green technologies.
