A Survivor Tells Her Story
The speaker's name is Heather Brown, and she is a survivor of human trafficking.
Since her heroic recovery as a victim of sex trafficking, Heather has provided speaking engagements to create awareness of the cunning recruitment practices of traffickers. She has shared control tactics of traffickers and helped with survivor-informed programming and training. She is now working full-time and has secured and maintained her own housing for the past year and a half. She is a licensed foster parent and will soon become an adoptive parent.
