Emily (Sukup) Schmitt is general counsel for Sukup Manufacturing, where she is in the 3^rd generation of family active in the business. She has presented about this unique project in numerous business and academic settings. She graduated from Iowa State University with a BA in business management in 2008 and from the University of Iowa with a JD in 2011. Emily and her husband Andy reside in Clear Lake with their two daughters.
